Deftones tour dates for 2025 announced

While often underrated commercially and critically during their turn-of-the-century peak, Sacramento alt-metal band Deftones has enjoyed a sustained revival of interest in recent years. They are consistently one of the most successful bands on streaming and have hosted the one-day Dia de los Deftones festival every year since 2020.

Now the band is embarking on its first headlining tour since 2022, visiting arenas across North America. Deftones will kick off the untitled 2025 tour on February 25 at Portland's Moda Center and visit legendary venues like Los Angeles' Kia Forum and New York's Madison Square Garden over the following month and a half before wrapping up at Boston's TD Garden in April.

Guests on the tour include Texas prog-metal veterans The Mars Volta and Boston nu-gazers Fleshwater. Tickets go on sale Friday (September 20) at 10 a.m. local time, and of course this year's Dia de los Deftones festival will follow in November, with other acts including IDLES, Health and Sunny Day Real Estate (with a full performance of their legendary 1994 debut album). diary).
