Dodgers fans will love Shohei Ohtani's epic quote after winning the 2024 World Series

Shohei Ohtani is officially a World Series champion.

In his first year with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ohtani won his first career ring in his first-ever postseason appearance.

After the game, Ohtani went to Andrew Friedman, the Dodgers' president of baseball operations, and gave him a simple message.

“Let’s do this nine more times,” Ohtani told Friedman.

Friedman hilariously said, “He gets one his first year, so he thinks it's easy.”

Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers last offseason. In his first year in LA, he had one of the best seasons in MLB history.

Ohtani invented the 50 home run, 50 stolen base club and finished with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases.

He set career highs in home runs, runs batted in, hits, runs scored, doubles and stolen bases.

Ohtani set the Dodgers' single-season home run record and made the postseason for the first time in his career.

Soon, Ohtani will win the National League's Most Valuable Player award. Now he's a World Series champion.

“I'm honored to be part of a season where we've played the longest and to get to know this team,” Ohtani told reporters after the game. “My first year and winning a World Series was a great honor.”
