Dry conditions and warmer than normal temperatures will persist this week

Greater Cincinnati is in for a dry and unseasonably warm week.

A dry air mass will settle over the region on Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Expect sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, about 10 to 13 degrees above normal.

Expect a few thin clouds at high elevations Monday evening. Lows will be milder, ranging from the lower to upper 40s. Warm temperatures will continue Tuesday, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday. A cold front will move through the area and cause temporary cooling on Thursday.

Temperatures will climb back into the high 70s on Friday before another cold front moves through the region. Some rain will be possible, but precipitation amounts will be limited.

There will be a slight cooling over the weekend, but temperatures will remain mostly within seasonal normal range.

Monday: Areas of fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise it will be sunny with a high around 77 degrees. Light and changing wind.

Monday evening: Patchy fog from 4 a.m. onwards. Otherwise it will remain clear, with a low of around 45 degrees. Light southeast wind.

Tuesday: Areas of fog before 2 p.m. Otherwise, it will be sunny, with a high near 78. In the afternoon, a calm wind will be out of the southwest at 5 to 8 mph.

Tuesday evening: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. South wind around 6 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Wednesday evening: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 66.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 75°.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66.
