Manchester City return to the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening when they face Sparta Prague at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola and his players maintained their position as the only remaining unbeaten side in the Premier League after another win at the weekend, this time in dramatic fashion with a John Stones winner against Wolves at Molineux.

After falling behind in the competition, Josko Gvardiol scored a stunning first-half equaliser, Manchester City were restricted by a ten-man Wolves defense but Stones broke that resolve in the 95th minute from a corner.

As for their opponents Sparta Prague on Wednesday evening, the Czech Republic-based side are in strong form after the first 11 games of their domestic season and sit in second place after eight wins, one draw and two defeats.

City have welcomed both Nathan Ake and Kevin De Bruyne back to training, although the latter will not play a role in Wednesday night's game. Kyle Walker is also out with a knee injury, while Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku were unable to take part in training on Tuesday.

Ahead of tonight's confirmed team news from the Etihad Stadium, initial information from journalists and sources about Manchester City's starting lineup has leaked on social media.

According to Joe Bray of the Manchester Evening News, who relayed UEFA's confirmation, 19-year-old Nico O'Reilly has been included in City's senior team for the game against Sparta Prague after missing out on the under-19 side was there. The Youth League clash earlier today.

Pep Guardiola and Lars Friis are expected to confirm their respective starting lineups for Manchester City and Sparta Prague on Wednesday evening at around 6:45pm (UK).
