Early voting in Texas ends Friday. Find polling places near you

This year's ballot includes several notable races, including the closely contested presidential race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

Texas also has an important Senate seat at stake: Democratic candidate for U.S. Rep. Colin Allred of Dallas is challenging incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

Voters will also weigh in on several key proposals, including Amarillo's Proposal A to become a sanctuary city for the unborn, Dallas' cannabis decriminalization proposal and school bond measures in counties like Frisco and Allen.

Where can I vote early in Texas?

Registered voters can cast their vote early at any polling station in their county.

On the Texas Secretary of State's VoteTexas.gov website, you can find early voting locations in the “In-Person Voting” section by clicking “Where's My Polling Place” and then “My Voter Portal.” There you can enter your name, county, date of birth and zip code to find your registration information and the nearest polling location.
