Elon Musk reveals the future of his political PAC amid a tough presidential race

“America PAC will move forward after this election – preparing for the midterms and all midterms, as well as considering district attorney and judicial elections,” Musk said on X Spaces on Tuesday.

Musk has taken an active role in the former president's campaign, helping to campaign for Trump in key battleground states such as Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Trump North Carolina

According to its website, America PAC aims to “promote free expression, free markets and a meritocratic society.”

Musk made a splash in the Pennsylvania campaign to support Trump's campaign by, among other things, offering $1 million a day to swing state voters who sign his political action committee's petition in support of the Constitution.

Musk was sued by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, who called the contest an “illegal lottery” designed to influence the results of a presidential election.

On Monday, a Pennsylvania judge ruled that Musk could continue his efforts.

Reuters reported on Tuesday evening that Musk was also being sued in a proposed class action lawsuit over the giveaways.

Musk has donated at least $118 million to America PAC, The Washington Post reported. He is expected to spend election night with the former president in Florida.

The New York Times initially reported, citing two people familiar with Musk's schedule, that Musk would be among a small group of people who would follow the election results along with Trump.

Musk wrote on X after the first assassination attempt against Trump in July in Butler, Pennsylvania: “I fully support President Trump and hope for his speedy recovery.”

Musk later appeared with Trump at a rally in Butler.

“I want to say what an honor it is to be here, and you know, the true test of a person's character is how they behave under fire, right?” Musk said at the beginning of his remarks. “And we had a president who couldn’t climb the stairs and another who flailed after being shot.”
