BATON ROUGE – Fans at the LSU-Ole Miss game Saturday night will help light up Tiger Stadium like never before with special LED wristbands that will be worn throughout the game.

LSU celebrates 100 years of Tiger Stadium on Saturday when the 10th-ranked Tigers host No. 8 Ole Miss in the first top-10 matchup in Death Valley since 2019 at 6:30 p.m. CT. It will be the first time LSU and Ole Miss will meet as top-10 teams since 1962.

“What excites me and the players is an SEC game in Tiger Stadium,” LSU coach Brian Kelly said Monday. “I think the energy and the excitement is not that it hasn't been exciting at the other games, but this is different. It reaches a new level when it's an SEC opponent in Tiger Stadium. It mixes differently and we are happy about it.”

One of Saturday night's highlights will be a choreographed LED light show throughout the game. The LED wristbands will be synchronized with the new lights at Tiger Stadium, providing an unprecedented playing experience at Tiger Stadium.

The LED wristbands – courtesy of Our Lady of the Lake Health – will be placed on every seat in the stadium's lower bowl, as well as all seating areas in the club and suites. Wristbands will be provided to fans seated in the upper decks (east, west and south end zones) on a first-come, first-served basis in the concourse of their respective seating areas.

The LED wristbands are programmed to activate at various times during the game, including Callin' Baton Rouge during game preparation as well as the “Golden Band from Tigerland” introductory video, LSU's introductory video before entering the field and “Saturday Night in Death Valley.”

The wristbands also light up during the LSU band's halftime performance and again when Callin' Baton Rouge is played before the start of the fourth quarter. The bracelets also activate for a number of songs during the game.

Fans are reminded to wear the wristband attached to their seat and are asked not to exchange wristbands with fans seated elsewhere in the stadium as this will reduce the impact of the light show. The wristband light show is choreographed based on sections throughout the stadium.

Another highlight of Saturday's celebrations will be the return of almost 150 former players spanning eight decades. The former players will be honored as guest captains during pregame ceremonies with national championship quarterbacks Warren Rabb and Matt Flynn, as well as Steve Ensminger, a former quarterback and offensive coordinator for LSU's 2019 national championship.

At halftime, the band will perform a special performance to commemorate 100 years of Tiger Stadium.

Both end zones will be painted with a special design commemorating 100 years of Tiger Stadium and players will wear a 100 Years of Tiger Stadium decal on their helmets.

The second edition of the exclusive LSU YETI Rambler Tumbler will be available for sale at 18 locations throughout Tiger Stadium. The latest edition of the YETI Cup features the 100th Anniversary Tiger Stadium logo.

Saturday's kickoff between the Tigers and Ole Miss is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on ABC. This is one of only two top-10 matchups in college football this weekend.
