LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Las Vegas Raiders fell to a disappointing 2-4 record this season after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) 32-13.

The loss was marred by the same issues that had plagued them all season, and after speaking with numerous members of the media, the estimated crowd was conservatively 65 to 35 Steelers fans.

The crowd wasn't even as ugly for the Raiders as their performance.

A frustrated coach Antonio Pierce said after the game: “Our record, as it shows, is 2-4. It's not good enough. We don't train well enough, we don't play well enough and we don't go into detail well enough. More importantly, if you turn the ball over, you don't give yourself a chance. Minus three again plus a blocked punt.”

Our latest episode of the Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast provides a complete recap of the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can watch it in full below.

New QB1 Aidan O'Connell was 27/40 for 227 yards, including a touchdown and an interception.

The Raiders had three crucial turnovers and a blocked punt that day, but to be fair, it was a game full of coaching, offense, defense and special teams errors.

It was actually a team defeat.

This game raises many questions that need to be asked in the future.

At the top of the list has to be the depth of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

While he's certainly not responsible for poor execution, turnovers or penalties, his style of play leaves people wondering about the organization's philosophy.

When he came out after half-time he had a first and a twentieth and a second and an eighteenth in safe territory, but both times he caused enormous headaches as he ran through the middle.

Later in the second half he had a second and an eight and threw long. In the fourth quarter, he threw three straight times in the shadow of his own goal post, culminating in the interception of O'Connell.

It made no sense, and the offense his head coach craves seems like just a pipe dream. Showing up in spurts only to be rewarded with oblivion.
