Golfer paired with random single on top course in Cabot…and it turns out to be Adam Sandler | Golf news and tour information

Some lucky golfers have made the journey to one of Golf Digest's highest rated golf courses and not only enjoyed great golf, but also entered the company of the Hall of Fame.

“One of my friend’s buddies was going to Cabot Cape Breton for a weekend trip and was paired with a single golfer,” says the r/golf post. “Adam Sandler was waiting for them at the tee! They said he was super cool, and when they checked out at the end of the trip, they found out he had paid their entire weekend bill.”

The post has since been deleted after it went viral online with nearly 1,400 upvotes and more than 80 comments. You always have to be on the lookout for positive Sandler news. It just keeps piling up.

Playing a round with Sandler would be a dream come true, and yet the comedy legend (and famous person) went the extra mile and picked up the tab. What a guy! Sandler may have a net worth in the hundreds of millions, but Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs don't come cheap, and you certainly wouldn't expect that from him.

It seems like every Sandler anecdote involves him being a regular guy who happens to be insanely famous and rich (and funny, of course). The man shows up on a random basketball court and just jumps on it. It seems he's no different on the tee shot.

We have so many questions. Did he try out his signature run-and-gun swing from Happy Gilmore? Were there any side bets? What's Sandler's trash talk game like?
