The New York Yankees avoided a sweep in Game 4, blowing an early lead but then adding a string of runs late to claim an 11-4 victory that kept alive their hopes of becoming the first team to win one was able to make up for a 3-0 deficit in the World Series.

The Yankees will try to force a Game 6 behind Gerrit Cole, who has excelled this postseason. Los Angeles will respond with Jack Flaherty, who hasn't been great this postseason.

According to MLB, four teams have won two straight games to force a Game 6 after falling behind 3-0, and two of those teams have pushed the series to Game 7, according to MLB.

Only one postseason team, the 2004 Boston Red Sox in the ALCS, has successfully completed the comeback.
