The sports world has run out of words to describe how remarkable Caitlin Clark's first regular season in the WNBA was, and earlier this week it finally came to an end. The first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark played in all 40 games for the Indiana Fever as a rookie and finished the year averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists on 41.7% shooting.

It's safe to say Clark has lived up to the incredibly high expectations placed on her in the WNBA, and she's not even done yet; the standout rookie led the Indiana Fever to the playoffs and will make her postseason debut on Sunday afternoon. Before kickoff, however, Clark earned another award for her great play in her debut season.

Early Sunday morning, the WNBA announced that A'ja Wilson was unanimously named the league's MVP for the 2024 season, receiving all 687 votes cast by a media panel. It's Wilson's third and, to say the least, well-deserved win. The league also announced who rounded out the top five alongside Wilson — including rookie Clark.

Napheesia Collier of the Minnesota Lynx finished second, with Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty finishing close behind. Clark was fourth and Alyssa Thompson of the Connecticut Sun was fifth.

Here's the full points breakdown. According to ESPN, players received 10 points for first place, seven for second, five for third, three for fourth and one for fifth.
