Kamala Harris won Massachusetts and New Hampshire in Tuesday's election, NBC News predicted, but vote totals show that in some areas the overall winner, Donald Trump, won every state.

With votes still being counted Tuesday morning, Trump was ahead in Bristol County, Massachusetts. In 2016, the last time Trump won the presidency, Hillary Clinton won every county.

Massachusetts was uncompetitive overall, with Harris posting large margins in Boston's Suffolk County and elsewhere. The five state ballot questions were the more competitive races.

In New Hampshire, which had received the most votes as of 7:30 a.m., Trump won a handful of counties, but the vote was fairly close in all of them.

Trump's best performance in Massachusetts came with more than 70% of the vote at 7:30 a.m. on Acushnet, according to NBC News. He also received more than 60% of the vote in another Bristol County town, Berkley, and in Blandford in Hampden County.

Former President Donald Trump won a second term in the White House, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris in a race in which worries about the economy eclipsed worries about reproductive rights and democratic norms. With a victory in Wisconsin, Trump secured the 270 electoral votes needed for the presidency.
