How to listen to the Jets vs. Patriots Week 8 NFL game on the radio

1 minute, 26 seconds Read

The Patriots enter Week 8 against the Jets with a 1-6 record and are hoping to pick up another win this year with Drake Maye under center. The last time the two teams met was in Week 3, when they suffered a stunning loss that led many to believe that the Aaron Rodgers-led team would somehow make it to the Super Bowl.

Those assumptions were quickly disproved as the Jets continued to struggle in the weeks that followed. They come to Foxboro on Sunday with a record of 2-5. Despite their efforts to improve the team by scapegoating their head coach, firing him, and trading him for Davante Adams, the Jets didn't look much better than they did at the start of the season.

This benefits the Patriots and could help them secure their second win of the season.

Unfortunately, a lot still has to happen for this to happen, which has not been the case so far. It doesn't help that more players, including Kyle Dugger and Brenden Schooler, were added to the injury report over the weekend, nor does the ongoing issues with their wide receivers.

With so many tests throughout the season, but especially in the last two weeks, it would be good to see the team use this frustration as motivation to get the job done this week and get revenge on one of their longest rivals.

Every Patriots game can be heard locally on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with Bob Socci and Scott Zolak calling the action.
