    Jimmy John's introduces the “Picklewich”: How to get one

    Have you ever bitten into a sandwich and thought, “Hmm, this would be so much better if the two pieces of bread were replaced with cucumbers”? Then Jimmy John's presents the perfect sandwich for you.

    The sandwich chain is introducing the Picklewich for a limited time, the company announced Thursday. The picklewich “combines all the signature fresh flavors of a classic Jimmy John's sandwich,” the company said, but with a twist: A giant kosher dill pickle replaces the bread, providing a “juicy, crunchy and satisfying bite.”

    The company said there will be two variations of the picklewich: the Vito and the Turkey & Provolone.

    • Vito Picklewich: Includes a giant kosher dill pickle, seeded and stuffed with salami, capocollo, provolone cheese and fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sauce and herbs.
    • The Turkey Picklewich: Includes a giant kosher dill pickle, seeded and stuffed with turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions.

    According to the sandwich chain, the sandwiches will be available at participating locations nationwide from October 28th through November 14th.

    Freaky Fast Reward members will receive 50% off the picklewich when they purchase an 8-inch sandwich on Nov. 3 in honor of National Sandwich Day, Jimmy John's said in the release. Additionally, starting November 3, customers can order their favorite 8-inch sandwich any time after 2 p.m. and create a combo deal that includes a bag of chips and a drink for free through December.

    Pickle Jimmy Chips is also returning

    In addition to the Picklewich, the sandwich chain is also bringing back its Pickle Jimmy Chips, which the company describes as a “salty, sour, tasty twist” on their classic Jimmy Chips.
