Josh Allen reaffirms Bill's “everybody eats” offense after WR Amari Cooper's debut

“That's the mindset we've always had: 'Everybody eats,'” Allen told reporters after Sunday's win. “Just because we have a man like him and his caliber doesn’t mean we’re going to try to force feed him. Everyone will be in their position and fulfill their role and again, in a few weeks we will leave. “We just did it, but it was nice to see our guys get involved today.

Allen continued to talk about Cooper's role in the “everyone eats” offense, saying he will definitely get his fair share of targets while reaffirming his confidence in the team's other pass catchers.

“Anytime you have a player of his caliber, he demands special attention, and if he doesn’t, we’ll probably throw the ball to him,” Allen said. “Again, our guys did a good job of getting open and making plays. I know Khalil (Shakir) is still not 100%, he fights through and plays the ball. I think it was Keon’s first time going over 100 yards. “That was pretty impressive to begin with.”

Along with Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid, Cooper accounted for all but 15 of the team's receiving yards on Sunday. This should be the future distribution; They are undoubtedly Buffalo's most talented pass catchers, and the defense simply doesn't know who to cover when all four are on the field.
