Areas of Colorado saw up to half a foot fall during the week, but Denver will remain dry and warm at least through the weekend. This could be one of Denver's last warm weekends in the 50s and 60s as the Pinpoint Weather team tracks the first possible snow of the season in the Mile High City.

Things to do this weekend

Whether you're still in the spooky mood or getting ready for the holidays or not, there's plenty to do this weekend.

Dia de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday honoring and celebrating deceased loved ones in communities throughout Latin America and many locations in the United States.

Festivals take place in many places in the city. Some include a party at Los Chingones in the River North Art District, while others are more family-friendly events with activities like pumpkin carving, a sugar skull coloring contest and a costume contest.

Other events include markets such as the Día de los Muertos Art Crawl on November 1st.

First Friday, holiday markets

While the last farmers' markets close in November, many other markets are just opening.

The First Friday Markets will be open November 1st and will feature everything from pop-up vendors to art on popular streets across Denver. Markets include First Friday Art Walk at 40 West Arts, First Friday at the Denver Art District in Santa Fe, First Friday at RiNo and First Fridays On Tennyson, among others.

The holiday markets are now starting to open. The Urban Holiday Market opens November 2nd with seasonal items and holiday gifts.

Sports in Denver

With the exception of the Colorado Rapids, who are in the first round of the Major League Soccer Club playoffs, most of Denver's sports teams are away this weekend. The team plays Friday night at DICK'S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City.

The Denver Nuggets also play against the Utah Jazz at Ball Arena on Saturday.

The Colorado Avalanche play on Saturday and the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but both teams will also be away for the weekend. While the teams are on the road, there are still plenty of places around the city to watch the game.

Concerts

T-Pain performs at Red Rocks on Thursday night, while Retrospective takes over the legendary amphitheater on Friday and Saturday. The Anjunadeep Open Air rounds off the weekend on Sunday with some of the last performances of the year.

The Ball Arena will host Sabrina Carpenter on Friday and Rod Wave on Sunday.

Last chance for Halloween activities

While this weekend might be considered “Hello Weekend,” many events are coming to an end after Halloween fell on a Thursday this year. If you want to stay in the spooky spirit until early November, there are a few more places open on the weekend.

Some of Denver's Halloween pop-up bars are open all weekend.

Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns ends November 2nd and some haunted houses like the 13th Floor and the Frightmare Compound are open all weekend.

Whether you're looking for spooky things to do or more heartwarming holiday activities, Denver has a little bit of everything to offer this weekend.
