Consecutive days in the 80s are rare in the second half of October! Highs will reach the low 80s again Monday afternoon from the Twin Cities to the south, although there will be more clouds. Tuesday will still be warm, although high temperatures will fall into the lower and mid 70s. Truth be told, rain is expected across northern Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon, along with a few rumbles of thunder. The Twin Cities could see light rain late Tuesday afternoon into the evening.

Gusty northwest winds will make Wednesday feel significantly colder, especially in the morning. There's another good chance of light rain on Thursday, as well as a warmer day in the mid to upper 60s. We settle into another calm pattern through the end of the week, with fall highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
