76 mins: Another double forest change. Hudson-Odoi and Elanga make way for Silva and Sosa.

share

74 mins: The corner leads to a game of head tennis. Forest are under a bit of pressure, but Faes clumsily crawls into Dominguez and the whistle gives the visitors relief. The fairies use up a lot of moral standing in this second half.

share

73 mins: Justin sprays a beautiful diagonal pass to Fatawu on the right sideline. Fatawu wins a corner. Wink to send it in.

share

71 mins: Forest responded to Leicester's double substitution with a substitution of their own, replacing Anderson and Moreno with Williams and Morato.

share

69 mins: A huge chance to wrap things up for Forest once and for all. A corner from the right. Leicester fail to cope and the ball falls six meters in front of Yates. He just has to score, but somehow flies over the bar. That is a astonishing miss.

share

68 mins: Ayew and El Khannouss replace Mavididi and Pereira for Leicester.

share

67 mins: Leicester need something quick and Buonanotte does his bit by winning a corner on the left. Fatawu should send it in. It's a long shot. Buonanotte heads the ball back over the goal, but only into the arms of Sels, who hasn't had much to do since the restart.

share

66 mins: Chris Wood has now scored six goals in the Premier League this season. Only Erling Haaland has more with ten.

share

64 mins: Leicester were also the better team in the first half. But it is Forest who have been far better and far more accurate since the restart. To add insult to injury, Buonanotte receives a slap in the face from Yates.

GOAL! Leicester 1-3 Forest (Wood 60)

It's wood again and this one comes straight from the '80s. Sels starts far in the middle. The hunt is about fairies versus forest. Faes weakly heads back to his goalkeeper while Hermansen is in no man's land. Wood heads the falling ball over the goalkeeper and into the unguarded net. Another defensive nightmare from Leicester's perspective; another great finish from Wood!

58 mins: Aina advances to the right again… only to be pulled back again by a cynical hand. This time it's Winks who devotes himself to the book.

share

57 mins: The Forest fans are currently in party mode. By now you know the song du jour of football.

share

56 mins: …and to illustrate the point, Hudson-Odoi quickly advances down the inside-left channel, opens his body and fires a curving side-footed shot around Hermansen and away from the base of the right post. Anderson sends the rebound just centimeters to the left. Leicester are suddenly holding out a bit here.

share

55 minutes: Aina crosses from the right. The ball lands at the feet of Anderson, who fires a shot towards goal from the edge of the penalty area… but the ball is blocked and cleared. However, the forest comes back, Hudson-Odoi crosses far from the left. Elanga narrowly misses the long stick. The forest looks dangerous every time it attacks.

share

53 mins: Buonanotte and Anderson both fall to the ground in an accidental collision. Luckily, they both get back up after a while. We keep playing.

share

51 mins: Although Vardy was pulled slightly, the striker got his feet tangled before going over and that was never forgiven. Buonanotte shoots in frustration from a distance.

share

50 minutes: Mavididi plays a pass down the inside left channel in the hope of getting Vardy into the penalty area. It's a bit exaggerated and Sels claims, although Vardy ignores it and claims he was cut off by Milenkovic. He wants a penalty, but the referee is not interested and neither is the VAR.

share

49 mins: That was an absolute hit from Wood. It would never end 1-1.

GOAL! Leicester 1-2 Forest (Wood 47)

From Forest's perspective, it's such an easy goal. Anderson gains possession of the ball on the left and rolls into the field to Wood, who is standing at the penalty spot with his back to the goal. Wood turns and fires a magnificent shot down the right. A wonderful ending! But once again Leicester lost the ball, with Winks and Fatawu confusing each other, allowing Forest to launch their attack.

Halftime entertainment. Having mentioned former Leicester and Forest manager Matt Gillies in the introduction, I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't remind you of this typically lovely piece by our old pal Rob Bagchi. Enjoy, enjoy.

HALF-TIME: Leicester City 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Leicester were the better team, but that's not to belittle Forest. Both teams showed a lot of attacking ambition and it was an entertaining end-to-end game. More please!

share

45 mins +2: Mavididi cuts in from the left and directs one into the bottom right corner. Only just, but Sels had everything under control.

share

45 mins +1: Buonanotte shoots through the middle and pushes a pass wide to the right to Vardy, whose return finds Fatawu on the edge of the penalty area. Fatawu cannot get the ball under control for a shot. It's a shame, because it was a nice, fluid move.

share

45 minutes: There will be two extra minutes in the first half.

share

44 mins: Buonanotte pushes through on the left side and deflects to Mavididi, who is unable to turn the ball towards the goal. Another attractive attack.

share

43 mins: Mavididi tries to release Vardy with a sweet spin and reverse strike down the inside left. Not quite, but full marks for the artistic standards.

share

41 mins: Moreno is booked for throwing out Fatawu on the right wing. Winks tries to direct the free kick towards Vardy in the penalty area, but this time he is not accurate enough.

share

40 minutes: Winks hits wide into the corner from the left. Sels comes from his line; it flutters and misses. Faes misses his attempt to head the ball onto the long stick; It comes from his back and then from Aina, but Leicester don't get another corner. It's probably best if everyone forgets all this, players, officials, the rest. We won't say anything more about it.

39 mins: Buonanotte finds some space in the inside right channel but can't find anyone with his cutback. Forest fail to clear their lines properly and Fatawu is able to try again from the same cross. His deep cross is deflected by Moreno for a corner at the far post.

share

37 mins: Nothing comes out of the corner. “This is a very open and attractive game with both sides attacking (at least for now),” notes Michael Cosgrove. “Add to that the classic blue vs. red jerseys on a manicured green field and I’m a happy little bunny.”

share

36 minutes: Elanga mindlessly hammers the free kick straight into the wall. But the rebound fell to Hudson-Odoi, who fired a shot to the right side of the goal. Shadow of his winner at Anfield. But Hermansen is behind it the whole time and turns the ball around the post.

share

35 minutes: Elanga storms through the middle and has plenty of space in front of her. He has the opportunity to send Hudson-Odoi free to the left, but misses the pass and the ball lands with a clatter in the goal kick. But Pereira had also caught Elanga from behind and Forest got the free kick from 25 yards out in a central position. Dangerous. Pereira also discusses the book.
