Elon Musk accompanied Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on election night and expressed his confidence in Trump's victory. With early results favoring Trump, Musk expressed predictions of a Republican victory and emphasized his active support for the former president throughout the campaign.

As Donald Trump got closer to winning the White House in the key swing states of North Carolina and Pennsylvania, Elon Musk, who supported and vigorously campaigned for the former president, went into a meme frenzy. Musk curated an image of himself entering the White House with a sink in his hand.

Musk previously shared a similar image when he acquired Twitter for $44 billion, marking the deal by entering the company's San Francisco office with a kitchen sink and a similar caption.

Musk and Trump spent election night at Mar-a-Lago and attended festivities in Palm Beach, Florida. An image widely shared on social media showed Musk sitting next to the Republican candidate, with a screen behind them showing election polls suggesting Trump's lead.

According to the New York Times, Musk was reportedly one of the few people who accompanied Trump as he watched the election results unfold. Trump hosted a number of events at Mar-a-Lago, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. He will also address donors at the Palm Beach Convention Center once the election results become clearer, the New York Post reported.

With initial forecasts showing Trump ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, Musk expressed confidence that he would return to the White House. On
Musk, who has donated over $119 million to a super PAC supporting Trump, was an active supporter throughout the campaign, hosting events in Pennsylvania and hosting an X-Space with the former president. He also appeared at several of Trump's rallies.
Musk has also expressed his willingness to join a potential Trump administration should the former president win. During the 2024 elections, Republicans gained a majority in the U.S. Senate with 51 seats, compared to Democrats' 42 seats.
Currently, Trump is expected to win 230 electoral votes while Kamala Harris has 210. The battle for control of the House remains tough, with Republicans leading with 178 seats over Democrats with 146 seats.
