McDonald's Spicy Chicken McNuggets are back in stock for a limited time

A fiery favorite is back among the Golden Arches.

McDonald's confirmed to TODAY.com that its Spicy Chicken McNuggets will be available at participating restaurants across the U.S. for a limited time starting November 4. The menu item can already be found on the chain's website and is available in 6, 10, 20 and 40-piece sizes.

In its statement, McDonald's says: “Want to add some spice to your life? Well, you’re in luck – Spicy Chicken McNuggets are returning to the menu at select local markets including Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, New York and more!”

Spicy Chicken McNuggets are a fiery twist on the chain's classic Chicken McNuggets with a tempura coating seasoned with a blend of cayenne pepper and chili peppers.

McDonald's says the limited-time item is a popular item that has been returned multiple times since its launch in 2020. Back in March of this year, the chain quietly brought back the savory poultry for a limited time. From 2022, the nuggets will become a regional, time-limited offer.

McDonald's declined to comment on whether it is considering adding the product to its menus permanently.

Still, Spicy McNugget fans online are begging the chain to stop ripping the item out of their hands.

“Hey @McDonalds, never getting rid of the spicy Chicken McNuggets,” one X user wrote. “Thanks.”

“Petition to make spicy chicken Mcnuggets permanent,” wrote another.

“They need to keep these on the menu,” someone commented on Instagram.

“KEEP THESE PERMANENTLY,” another pleaded. “These people with their ranch are euphoric.”
