Mike Tyson says he is ready to die in the boxing ring against Jake Paul

Mike Tyson plans to put it all on the line when he takes on Jake Paul in two weeks on Netflix. The highly anticipated duel between the former heavyweight champion, now 58 years old, and the younger but always confident YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.

MIKE TYSON VS JAKE PAUL WILL TAKE PLACE NOVEMBER 15TH ON NETFLIX

“If I win, I will be immortal. But if I do bad, I don’t want to die in a hospital bed, I’d rather die in the ring,” Tyson said in a recent interview with Most Valuable Promotions.

Dying in the ring might sound like something completely absurd, but the thing is: this is Mike Tyson we're talking about, and he might not be kidding.

Anyone who has followed Tyson's career knows that he has some “interesting” thoughts from time to time – including biting his opponent Evander Holyfield's ear not once, but twice, during their last boxing match back in the day.

And, as I've said time and time again, Mike Tyson may be old, but if Jake Paul catches him with a punch, he could very well get back into Iron Mike mode – something the former champ has said that he could do it!

“I’m always cautious when this guy comes out. Every time I'm drinking or getting ready for a fight and Iron Mike comes back, I break out in handcuffs. Unfortunately, I have to fight and be that guy. I wish I could stop this guy.” “This guy is chasing me. I wish I could stop this guy, but he’s here again,” Tyson said during a podcast interview.

…Um, good luck, Jake Paul?

MIKE TYSON LOOKS COMPLETE

Not to mention, two days ago Tyson also tweeted one word: “Murderous” and posted a photo of himself on his official Twitter X account. You know, that's not normal at all, unless you're Mike Tyson, who, as we all know, became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time for this very reason.

Could Tyson just be talking for the sake of talking and spicing up the fight on November 15th? Secure.

But if you watch Tyson's training videos and sparring sessions and see how fit he looks for his 58-year-old age, you can bet I'll give him odds of +210 to win against Jake Paul; which, by the way, also drops from -350 to -275 for some books.

Maybe they'll start to believe in what Mike Tyson says.
