Morgan throws 4 touchdowns as Wildcats move past Bryant

DURHAM – Senior quarterback Seth Morgan threw for 314 yards and four touchdowns to lead the University of New Hampshire football team to a 38-17 victory over Bryant University on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium.

Morgan completed 23 of 30 passes, including touchdown passes to three different receivers and eight different Wildcats. He had touchdown drives on each of UNH's first four possessions.

Junior Caleb Burke finished the game with a career-high six catches for 151 yards and scored two touchdowns for the second straight game. Captain Logan Tomlinson caught seven balls for 106 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown.

Senior Isaac Seide ran for 61 yards on six attempts, including a 33-yard touchdown run.

Senior cornerback Noah Stansbury and sophomore safety Wande Owens were tied with nine tackles, which was the most of the game. Stansbury was also credited with three pass defenses and Owens was responsible for one of UNH's two sacks.

Bryant quarterback Jarrett Guest completed 25 of 44 passes for 335 yards and one touchdown.

UNH extended its winning streak to three games and improved its record to 3-1, while Bryant is now 1-3.

New Hampshire will play again at Harvard University on Friday, October 4. The Wildcats' next home game is Saturday, October 19, on Homecoming Weekend against the University of Rhode Island.
