Navy QB Blake Horvath tells the hilarious story of how his sister punched him in the face on College GameDay

ESPN College game day often brings out some truly heartwarming stories about college football players, highlighting various aspects of their personal lives to show that it's about more than just the game.

Sometimes funny anecdotes are told.

And on Saturday, marine quarterback Blake Horvath was the focus of the latter. The College game day The crew wasted no time getting to the point while interviewing Horvath on the field at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

“Blake, I heard that your sister once hit you in the face, and after she did that, you were very grateful that she did that to you,” host Desmond Howard said. “Please explain this story to us, Blake.”

Horvath quickly broke out into a wide grin as he walked across the field with the headset in his ear, listening to the question.

Then he began the story.

“Yes, when I was really young I was playing around and accidentally stuck a toy up my nose,” Horvath said. “I never told anyone about it. Seven years later, I got into a fight with my sister. She rocked right in my face. The next day the toy fell out of my nose. So thank you, Rachel, for punching me in the face. Like all the brothers out there have probably experienced before.”

It's hard to say how many brothers had toys ripped out of their faces by their sisters, but it was a hilarious moment that led to it College game day Team let down.

Horvath, for his part, has been successful for Navy this season, leading the Midshipmen to a 6-0 start. They face their biggest challenge yet on Saturday, against Notre Dame at noon.

Needless to say, they're going to need Horvath's best. The good news is that thanks to his sister he can now breathe well again. He seemed completely relaxed College game day.

“Yeah, well my sister, first of all call Rachel,” Horvath said. “She doesn’t like that every single story about her smacks me in the face.”
