In worrying scenes, Browns defenseman Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was carted off the field and taken to hospital with a neck injury after a serious collision with Baltimore Ravens forward Derrick Henry.

Both men appeared to be injured when they hit the ground, but Owusu-Koramoah came out worse and appeared dazed as he fell on his stomach.

The cart came out and Owusu-Koramoah appeared to slowly raise his fist as the crowd applauded him.

Fans also chanted “JOK” in tribute to the Cleveland star who supported him – and were rewarded by him being the first to raise the ball to signal he would be okay in the end.

Meanwhile, Henry scored the touchdown that decided the game – but in the end he was on the losing side.

Some good news for Owusu-Koramoah as he reaches his hospital bed is that the Browns pulled off one of the shocks of the season by defeating the Ravens 29-24.

The Browns also played with Jameis Winston, their backup quarterback, after Deshaun Watson was out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon.

The result brings the Browns to 2-6 on the season, while the Ravens are now 5-3.
