    NFL Week 8 Results: Dolphins lose Tua Tagovailova's last-second return to Cardinals FG

    The Arizona Cardinals secured a 28-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins with a last-second field goal, but a sigh of relief could be heard in South Florida after QB Tua Tagovailoa's long-awaited return went about as well as a loss was possible.

    Miami had looked a shadow of its former self since Tagovaila's concussion in Week 2, and Tua's return to the field – and to form – made the Dolphins whole and functional again.

    Everyone benefited from his return from injured reserve. Without Tua, the Fins averaged just 10 points per game. But everyone got something to offer in his first game back. De'Von Achane had 10 carries for 97 yards plus six catches for 50 yards with a touchdown. Raheem Mostert had two touchdowns on 9 carries for 19 yards. Tyreek Hill had six catches for 72 yards. And Tua himself went 23-for-38 with 234 and a passing touchdown.

    But the most important thing? Instead of jumping headfirst into the air at the end of a piece, he executed a perfect slide. The crowd went wild. Tua is definitely back and the Dolphins could be right behind him.
