The Los Angeles Rams rallied from an early 10-point deficit, came back and won a great game. With the Rams starting the season 1-4 and the rest of the division entering Sunday's game at 4-4, Los Angeles desperately needed a win.

The Rams traveled to Seattle and exited with a win that could make or break their season.

The Rams' comeback win against a Seahawks team that's just as desperate for a win as the Rams. Entering Sunday's game, the Seahawks had lost four of their last five games.

Los Angeles' thrilling victory over the Seahawks saw them move up in the NFC West standings, where they now sit in second place in the division, behind only the Arizona Cardinals.

Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus analyzed some of the key numbers in the Rams' win over the Seahawks. He noted that both teams did several things well on Sunday, with the Raiders coming out on top.

“So much for Hollywood selling out,” Locker said. “The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks 26-20 in an overtime thriller to improve to 4-4.

“After Kenneth Walker III was exhausted on fourth-and-1 early in overtime, Matthew Stafford connected with Demarcus Robinson for a 39-yard touchdown to end the game and seal the LA victory.

“Two red zone interceptions by Geno Smith plagued the Seattle offense, with rookie Kam Kinchens firing one 103 yards the other way for a game-winning touchdown.”

Locker named Rams offensive lineman Kevin Dotson player of the game for his outstanding protection. Dotson had one of the highest scoring games of his career, helping quarterback Matthew Stafford complete 25 of his 44 passes for 300 yards. In almost every way, Dotson was instrumental in the Rams' victory.

“Rams guard Kevin Dotson helped Los Angeles come from behind to win the division,” Locker said. “Dotson allowed just one pressure on 47 pass-blocking snaps while posting a 91.2 run-blocking grade – the highest in a game of his career, pending final review.”

The Rams have a favorable run of games over the next few weeks. Sunday's win against the Seahawks could be the start of something special for this Rams team. Time will tell how far the Rams can continue their winning streak.
