Our next chance of rain comes on Sunday. Rain is expected to begin before midday but will be light. The rain will stop early Monday morning.

Right now it looks like most places can expect less than a tenth of an inch of rain. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will only be in the 50s.

Today prayers are offered for Florida as it recovers from Hurricane Milton. Milton is now back at sea, but has certainly left his mark on Florida.

The storm reached the coast in the early evening hours of Wednesday, but left its mark on the state long before it made landfall. Ahead of the storm, powerful tornadoes moved through the state, and some of these tornadoes were blamed for the first deaths from the storm. With the storm dumping up to 10 inches of water across the state while also causing flooding, flooding became a problem during the overnight hours.

The good news is that Florida's worst weather is now over. This morning, at daybreak, we will see the devastation the storm has left in its wake.
