Pacers center is listed as questionable

Turner, a 10th-year veteran and the Pacers' all-time leader in blocked shots, is averaging 15.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game this season after averaging 17.1 points, 6 a season ago .9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. Turner has struggled with injuries for most of his career, but last year he played in 77 games, his most since 81 in the 2016-17 season.

The Pacers are already missing James Wiseman at the center position. The former No. 2 pick and offseason free agent signing suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the season opener in Detroit and will miss most, if not all, of the 2024-25 season. Backup center Isaiah Jackson is available and had a strong performance in the loss to Orlando, grabbing nine rebounds, including seven on offense. However, if he moves from the second unit to the first, the Pacers would likely choose between moving Obi Toppin to the middle of the second unit as the backup power forward or letting rookie Enrique Freeman, a second-round pick, play with the Pacers on a two it says -way contract.
