Patriots release speedy wide receiver Jalen Reagor from practice squad

The Patriots have released veteran wide receiver Jalen Reagor from their practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.

Reagor, 25, was selected by the Eagles in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He has been with the Patriots since signing with the team last August. He was promoted to the active roster last October and caught seven passes for 138 yards in 11 games last season. He also had one run for 17 yards and returned seven kicks for 221 yards with one touchdown.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide receiver re-signed with the Patriots in March. He made the team's original 53-man roster, but was outrighted a day later and placed on the practice squad.
