Rams troll 49ers for Week 3 collapse with win probability chart originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area

The 49ers are hearing it from all sides after they blew a 10-point fourth-quarter lead to the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

San Francisco, which trailed 27-24 after leading 24-14 early in the fourth quarter, was on its way to victory over Los Angeles, according to ESPN's win probability graph.

But the Rams had the last laugh and shared a screenshot of the graphic on social media after the drama at the end of the game to rub salt in the 49ers' wounds.

The Rams' social media administrator cooked with it.

The Rams were not in the game until the bitter end. But that shouldn't have mattered, as the 49ers wasted several chances. The analysts were convinced that the visiting team would emerge victorious.

The surprise loss was nothing short of a collapse for the 49ers. Despite being plagued by injuries, San Francisco held a double-digit lead, quarterback Brock Purdy made history with another outstanding performance, and wide receiver Jauan Jennings scored three touchdowns.

And the battered Rams remembered what analysts had said about their badly injured team before the matinee.

The 49ers should now be leading 2-1, but a series of mistakes caused the Rams to rise from their grave.

The 49ers' wideouts were responsible for 75 percent of Purdy's incomplete passes and six drops, while San Francisco's special teams let the team down in key spots.

The Rams are certainly enjoying the moment and are collectively rubbing it in the 49ers' faces.
