The Baltimore Ravens acquire Pro Bowl wide receiver Diontae Johnson in a blockbuster trade with the Carolina Panthers. ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report the news of the trade.

The Ravens are sending Carolina a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick for Johnson.

The 28-year-old Johnson now returns to the AFC North after spending half a season with the Panthers. In seven games with Carolina this season, Johnson recorded 30 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

Johnson was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Panthers last offseason. He spent the first five years of his career with the Steelers, making an All-Pro Second Team and a Pro Bowl.

Johnson was drafted by Toledo in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He improved in each of his first three seasons, breaking out in his third year with 107 passes for 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns, all career highs.
