Singham Again first review out: Salman Khan's cameo 'grabs everyone's attention', Rohit Shetty created 'magic' | Bollywood

Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' hits theaters on November 1. The action-packed spectacle is said to be an Avengers-style crossover for the characters in its cop universe. Of course, the film is chock-full of stars and guest appearances. The film's first review came from a supposed special screening on the eve of its release and was full of praise. An X-name (formerly Twitter) called Bollywood Bell tweeted his review of Singham Again late Thursday evening and in turn gave it 4.5 stars. Calling the film an “action packed blockbuster”, the tweet said: “Director #RohitShetty has created the same magic as he did for #Simmba but this time on a grand scale.”

There was particular praise for the way the filmmaker presented the stars. “The presentation of #AjayDevgn is phenomenal, especially the entry sequence, the fight scenes and the acting are simply stunning. #AkshayKumar will amaze you. He looks so badass and even his action sequences are top notch. Speaking of which, “Villain #ArjunKapoor isn't perfect, but he looks absolutely brilliant in all the action sequences and whenever Ajay Devgn and Arjun come face to face,” the review says.

Bollywood Bell praised Deepika Padukone's cameo but termed Ranveer Singh's presence in the film as a “hoax”. The review also praised the VFX, saying it was “far better than we expected”. He described the action sequences as the highlight of the film.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​​​also tweeted: “#OneWordReview… #SinghamAgain: TERRIFIC Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dream cast. Excellent action. Excellent second half… #AjayDevgn – #RohitShetty takes Brand #Singham to new heights… Massy to the core… The big surprise at the end is another Seetimaar moment.

Salman Khan is the master of the game

But critics gave the highest praise to Salman Khan, who stars as his iconic Dabangg character Chulbul Pandey in the film. “Megastar #SalmanKhan's THREE MINUTES cameo received all the whistles and screams. #ChulbulPandey has mastered the cameo game,” it said.

The film's team has claimed that there are no special screenings ahead of the release, apart from a few for CBFC members and international critics. However, these reviews usually arrive on the day of publication. Therefore, this analysis should be viewed with caution.

Singham Again is currently in cinemas. The film clashed with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office.
