'SNL': Hillary Clinton's Vice President Tim Kaine Makes a Cameo, But No One Can Remember His Name

“Saturday Night Live” kicked off this week with a surprise appearance from Vice President Kamala Harris and was promptly followed by another surprise appearance from former vice presidential hopeful Tim Kaine. Unfortunately, no one could remember his name.

Hillary Clinton's former vice president appeared in a remake of the fan favorite “What's That Name?” Sketch, a game show in which contestants have to remember names they should definitely know.

In this case, the candidate was a man, played by host John Mulaney, who had long been an outspoken progressive on social media and who definitely voted for Clinton. But when Kaine came out, he simply couldn't remember his name.

He quickly railed against Mulaney's character, reminding him, “You voted to put me a heartbeat away from the presidency,” but that didn't help. Finally, the moderator gave him three options: “Tim Clinton, Tim Tim, Tim Scott.”

The contestant concluded that two out of three clearly sounded wrong and guessed Tim Tim, much to Kaine's dismay. The host explained that he wasn't actually one of the men on offer and offered him some comfort.

“Oh. Well, God bless you,” said the host.

From then on, the game continued until it came to its final key, which was worth $10 million. The question? Name this man. It was Tim Kaine again.

“I just told you 90 seconds ago!” he cried as Mulaney fought again.
