DENVER (KDVR) – There will be plenty of sunshine again over Denver and the week will end with seasonal high temperatures in the low 60s.

Weather today: Sunny skies

On Friday afternoon, the sky over Denver will remain sunny and there will be a light breeze. High temperatures will be near the seasonal average of about 60 degrees.

Weather tonight: A few clouds

There will be some additional clouds on Friday evening and the wind will remain light. Overnight minimum temperatures will fall to the freezing mark, keeping the city close to seasonal averages.

Outlook: It will continue to rain and snow

Saturday looks like a nice start to the weekend, with mostly sunny skies and comfortable high temperatures in the 60s.

Clouds will move in quickly Sunday morning, keeping temperatures in the upper 50s. Snow showers will push into the mountains throughout Sunday, with Denver experiencing showers during the second half of Sunday afternoon.

The first snow of 2024 is expected to be one of the youngest in Denver's history

Monday is a day to keep an eye on as rain and snow are expected to continue overnight and into Monday, which could lead to some slippery patches in the morning. This system will end Monday afternoon with highs in the low 40s.

Tuesday brings mostly sunny skies and cool highs in the lower 50s.

Clouds and snow will move in on Wednesday, with highs around 40°C. This looks to be another day to keep an eye on as it will be more of a snow system for the Front Range and Denver could see some accumulation.

By Thursday afternoon, clouds will clear with cool highs in the upper 40s.
