Taskmaster's Daisy May Cooper believes she is being haunted by This Country co-star

This country Star Daisy May Cooper believes she is being haunted by the ghost of her late co-star.

In conversation with Radio TimesDaisy revealed that she had experienced a “slam on the bedroom door” and another incident where “the duvet was lifted off the bed”.

Daisy believes that her boyfriend Michael Sleggs, who died in 2019, is behind the strange events because she made him promise that he would come back.

She explained: “The knocking on the door wasn't normal – there was a rhythm and me and my partner were just looking at each other… I'm sure it was him (Sleggs).”

“If anyone would come back and tell me there is something after death, it would be him.

“I mean, even the way he acted… I made him promise that he would come back and he would definitely do it because he knows it would freak me out and he would find that hilarious.”

The taskmaster Star has had so many supernatural experiences that she wrote a book called Hexy bitch, which hits shelves on October 24th.

Last year, Daisy revealed she had a ghost experience so horrific she was forced to move out of her home.

Appears on BBC's Ghost podcast Scary, Daisy explained that the guest room on the top floor of her country house was the scene of a series of strange experiences.

While she stayed one night, she Friend Sarah heard someone breaking into the house and was “so scared she called her boyfriend.”

Daisy went on to explain that everyone who has stayed in the same room has had a spooky experience – be it hearing voices, the smell of cigarettes, turning on the shower or even “shadow figures”.

She also revealed that the pictures on the walls around the room were moving on their own, like, “Someone took them down and put them in different places.”

Daisy also explained that she received a text message from her housekeeper telling her that while she was away, she saw a man dressed as a Roman in her house and heard the sound of a small child running around.

“It's so funny and so ridiculous, and I know what people think when I say it and how stupid it sounds, but I saw what I did and the sound of the thing coming in was terrifying ” she added.

“I can never get the sound out of my head. It was terrible.”

taskmaster Series 18 returns on Thursday September 12th at 9pm and continues to air and stream Channel 4. A Junior Warden Spinoff was confirmed.
