If you're looking for a new compelling western drama now that Yellowstone is heading into its final episodes, Netflix has delivered Territory just in time. The Australian follow-up drama starring Anna Torv, Michael Dorman and Robert Taylor plays a sprawling saga about the fight for power and coveted land in the outback.

Set in the vast wilderness of Australia's Top End, Territory follows the generational struggle between rival cattle barons, outlaw cattle rustlers, indigenous elders and billionaire miners. The six-part series, which fights for land and livestock, focuses on the Lawson family, which runs Marrianne Station, the largest cattle ranch in the world, and must fend off invading forces from all sides.

Anna Torv as Emily Lawson

Born into a notorious family of cattle thieves, Emily Lawson (née Hodge) married into the wealthy Lawson family and has ambitions to run Marianne Station alongside her husband Graham Lawson and daughter Susie Lawson – despite the openness her father-in-law's contempt for her and her family legacy. She also has a past with fellow rancher Campbell Miller and must look out for her loving but thieving brother

Emmy-nominated actress Anna Torv's best-known roles include Olivia Dunham in “Fringe,” Dr. Wendy Carr in Mindhunter and Tess in the HBO adaptation The Last of Us.

Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson

The Lawsons' overlooked older son, Graham Lawson, became an alcoholic after his father passed him over as heir to Marriane Station in favor of his fiercer, tougher brother Daniel. His battle with addiction strains his marriage to Emily as well as his relationship with their daughter Susie and his son from his first marriage, Marshall, but Graham sees an opportunity to improve and recover after Daniel's death.

Dorman is best known for his roles as John Tavner in Patriot, Gordo Stevens in For All Mankind and Tom Wilcox in Wonderland.

Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson

The Lawson family patriarch, Colin Lawson, is a ruthless old-school rancher who fears as much for the future as he does that no one in his family will be able to maintain the Lawson legacy after the death of his beloved son Daniel. A violent hardass, Colin spurs on his eldest son Graham's family and instead puts all his efforts into turning his aimless grandson Marshall into a worthy heir.

Taylor is best known for his roles as Sheriff Walt Longmire in Longmire, Geoff Walters in The Newsreader and Nicolas Walsh in Home and Away. He also played Agent Jones in The Matrix.

Philippa Northeast as Susie Lawson

The daughter of a Hodge and a Lawson, Susie Lawson was born to run a station – and is determined to do so. Fiercely independent, Susie drops out of agricultural school and returns to Marianne Station to pursue a full-time career in the male-dominated livestock industry.

Northeast is famous for her roles as Evelyn MacGuire in Home and Away, Kay Walters in The Newsreader and Amelia Bell in A Royal Runaway Romance.

Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson

Graham's son from his first marriage, Marshall Lawson, left Marianne Station and the toxic Lawson legacy as a teenager to escape his father's alcoholism and family plans. Unfortunately, escaping his roots has led him to some equally shady people, including his rebellious friends Rich and Sharnie.

Corlett is a familiar face on Netflix. The actor previously played Leif Erikson in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla and Caliban in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Jay Ryan as Campbell Miller

Campbell Miller appears to be a rags-to-riches golden boy of the cattle barons. He has a dark past of his own and a dangerous streak that rivals the Lawsons. He has also been in love with Emily for most of her life and wants to win her back along with Marianne Station.

Ryan is best known for his starring role as Vincent Keller in Beauty and the Beast and the role of the older Ben Hanscom in It Chapter Two. His credits also include Top of the Lake, No Escape and the famous Australian soap Neighbors.

Clarence Ryan as Nolan Brannock

Nolan, an Indigenous rancher who owns Laggan Downs Station, has earned hard-won respect as a rare Indigenous owner in the white-dominated ranching industry and often has to balance his loyalty to his community with the demands of the for-profit ranching industry. He is busy with Sandra on business and looks after the young Dezi.

Ryan's credits include Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Mystery Road: Origin and Cleverman.

Dan Wyllie as Hank Hodge

Emily's brother Hank Hodge is unashamed of his family's legacy and is proudly the Top End's most notorious cattle rustler. Although he is deeply affected by his sister's decision to join the Lawson family, he remains loyal and loving – aside from the occasional cattle rustling – and takes pride in outsmarting the establishment.

Wyllie has a wide range of film, television and voice acting credits, including Love My Way, Animal Kingdom, Muriel's Wedding, Chopper, Tracey McBean and The Veil.

Sam Delich as Rich Petrakis

Marshall's law-abiding, fast-talking, whirling friend Rich has escaped a traumatic childhood of abuse and spends his life seeking one thrill after another. When he learns that Marshall is a Lawson, Rich tries to take advantage of the circumstances and, one way or another, tap into his friend's family fortune.

Delich appeared in “Home and Away,” “Mr. “In-Between,” “Spiderhead,” and “Last Days of the Space Age.”

Kylah Day as Sharnie Kennedy

As Rich and Marshall's accomplice, Sharnie comes from an indigenous working class family in Queensland, but goes on an adventure with Rich and Marshall to the Top End. Now she's torn between the two as her newfound connection with Marshall threatens to tear her away from Rich.

Kylah Day's previous roles include Lucy in Itch and Jill in Scrublands.

Sara Wiseman as Sandra Kirby

Ruthless billionaire mining magnate Sandra Kirby comes from a ranching background and inherited her father's generational grudge against the Lawsons, but transitioned into mining, where she controls resources to “keep the lights of the world shining.” Sandra is a master manipulator, even with her son Lachie. She has a grand plan to redevelop Marianne Station and is doing business throughout the city to dismantle the Lawson dynasty.

Wiseman is known for her performances as Carolyn Bligh in A Place to Call Home, Mayor Kelleher in One of Us Is Lying and Helen Hartley in High Country. She also starred in Rake and recently played Dar in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

Joe Klocek as Lachie Kirby

Spoiled city boy Lachie Kirby has spent his life under the manipulative thumb of his mother Sandra, but when he meets Susie Lawson in Top End, he develops a connection that could give him the courage to break free from his mother's control – even if a romance between Kirby and Lawson is completely forbidden.

Klocek is best known for his roles as Fits in My Lady Jane, Heath in Nowhere Boys and Byron Stone in Neighbors.

Hamilton Morris as Uncle Bryce

The Acacia Plains Community's beloved elder, Uncle Bryce, fiercely defends his people's traditions and distrusts people like Sandra Kirby after a lifetime of watching white people trample on the needs of the indigenous community.

Morris' credits include “Sweet Country” and “8MMM Aboriginal Radio.”

Tyler Spencer as Dezi

Dezi is something of a troublemaker and a rebellious indigenous boy who is placed under Nolan's mentorship to find his way and learn the workings of ranching. “Territory” is Spencer’s second appearance after his first appearance in “The New Boy.”

Jake Ryan as Daniel Lawson

The ruthless younger Lawson son Daniel fought hard to win his father's approval and gain control of Marianne Station, which meant he died with enemies he could suspect.

Ryan is best known for his role as Robbo Shaw in more than 250 episodes of Home and Away, as well as roles in NCIS: Sydney, Wentworth and the television series Wolf Creek.
