The forecast for tonight:
New warnings come into effect this evening for the next round of snow accumulations. WINTER STORM WARNINGS in pink and WINTER WEATHER ADVISORS in purple are in effect until 5 a.m. Saturday. Expect heavy snow showers over the next few days, with periods of heavy snowfall at times, creating dangerous travel conditions.

Colorado Springs Forecast: Low: 20; High: 31;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. It will snow off and on throughout the day. Winds will be northerly at 10 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 miles per hour.

Pueblo Forecast: Low: 25; High: 32;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. Snow showers are expected with northerly winds of 10 mph and gusts to 20 mph.

Canon City forecast: Low: 23; High: 33;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. Thursday will see snow showers with north winds at 5 mph and gusts to 10 mph.

Woodland Park Forecast: Low: 8; High: 25;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. Thursday will see off and on snow showers with north winds at 5 mph and gusts to 10 mph.

Tri Lakes Forecast: Low: 14; High: 30;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. Regular snow showers on Thursday with north winds at 10 mph and gusts to 25 mph.

Plains forecast: Low: 20s; High: 30s;
The winter storm warning is in effect all day Thursday for the counties highlighted in pink above. The Plains will see intermittent snow showers throughout the day, with gusty north winds at 10 mph, gusting to 30 mph.

Forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: Low: 22/21; High: 31/33;
WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect all day Thursday. The snow showers will continue and be heavy at times. Winds are blowing from the north at 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 25 miles per hour.

Mountain Forecast: Low: Teenager; High: 20s/30s;
WINTER STORM WARNING in effect all day Thursday for regions in pink above, WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect all day for zones in purple. Regular snow showers and cloudy weather and dangerous travel are expected.
