The Bruins return home from a three-game Western Conference road trip to face the Dallas Stars on Thursday night.

Boston went 1-1-1 on the trip and fell to 3-3-1 overall after a 4-0 loss in Nashville, where the Predators were off to the franchise's worst start at 0-5.

Bruins coach Jim Montgomery opted for a near-total overhaul of his lines against Nashville, leaving only the fourth line of John Beecher, Mark Kastelic and Cole Koepke together in the hot start. Still, the Bruins were sidelined for the first time this season and have conceded just one goal in their last two games.

After a four-game winning streak to start the season, Dallas has lost two of three games, including failing to mount a comeback in a 4-2 loss at Buffalo on Tuesday.
