The National Weather Service in Charleston, West Virginia, has issued a tornado warning for Northeastern Boyd County in northeastern Kentucky… Eastern Greenup County in northeastern Kentucky… Southwestern Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio… *Until 3:30 p.m EDT released. * At 253 p.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Coal Grove and was moving north at a speed of 20 mph. DANGER…tornado. SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT… Flying debris is dangerous to those caught without protection. Mobile homes are damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles occurs. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near…Ironton, Coal Grove and Lake Vesuvius around 3:00 PM EDT. Other locations affected by this tornadic thunderstorm include Raceland, Russell, Flatwoods, Worthington, Pedro, Bellefonte, Hanging Rock, Westwood and Wurtland.

DANGER…tornado. SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT… Flying debris is dangerous to those caught without protection. Mobile homes are damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles occurs. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain primarily over rural areas in southwestern Gallia and central Lawrence Counties, including the following locations: Gage, Scottown, Waterloo, Aid and Vernon.
