Fall is for pumpkin, apples and… taco salads.

Wendy's has released three new fall-inspired menu items, all of which will be available starting November 12th. Instead of the expected flavors reminiscent of Thanksgiving, the fast food restaurant's new menu items take on some new flavors.

According to a press release, the limited-time Salted Caramel Frosty is described as “providing warm and cozy comfort with every cool bite.” The dessert will replace the vanilla frosty when it arrives, a source at Wendy's confirmed to PEOPLE. Plus, according to the source, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, the SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired flavor, which launched on October 8th, will also be given priority when the Salted Caramel flavor launches.

The Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger is another fall menu item. The mushroom-forward version stacks roasted mushrooms, bacon, Muenster cheese, and creamy garlic spread on a meat patty.

The latest of the fall additions is an upgraded taco salad. Wendy's has sold the Mexican-inspired dish before, but this new version features a creamy salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, tortilla strips and chili. The original version consisted of chili, tortilla chips, sour cream and salsa.

The Vanilla Frosty's demise became clear when it reappeared on menus in mid-September. A spokesperson for Wendy's told PEOPLE at the time that “nothing on our menu is meant to last forever” and that there is “no exact date when Vanilla Frosty will disappear from menus.”

The original flavor was removed from the menu for the three flavors, Berry and Orange Dreamsicle, available in spring and summer 2024. Before these fruit-forward options, the vanilla frosty was replaced with peppermint, pumpkin spice, and strawberry frostys.

The other Frosty going out, the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, was not a seasonal flavor but was still contemporary.

The tropical flavored treat was in honor SpongeBob SquarePantss' 25th anniversary and part of the Wendy's Krabby Patty collab, which was available earlier this month.

“The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty” was inspired by the cartoon’s iconic fruit-shaped home. This sweet choice combines Wendy's beloved vanilla frosty with a dollop of pineapple mango puree.

Also on the limited-time menu was a Krabby Patty-type Krabby Patty, with a beef patty sandwiched between a toasted bun, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and a “top secret” crab collapsible sauce on a press release lying.
