What's the weather like in Denver today? | Weather

Warmer temperatures wrap up the work week and the start of November on Friday, but wintry weather returns to the Mile High City starting next week.

Denver residents can expect sunny skies today with a high around 62, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Southerly winds 5 to 8 mph will become easterly in the morning.



Partly cloudy skies are expected this evening, with lows around 33°C. East winds between 5 and 7 mph become light and variable after midnight.

Saturday will be the warmer weekend day of the two as temperatures remain in the 60s. A rising storm system will move in on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by rain showers, eventually bringing snow to the city starting Monday.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Light and variable wind becoming east-southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach up to 17 miles per hour.

Sunday: There is a 30% chance of showers after midday. Partly sunny, with a high near 58. Light and variable wind becoming northeast at 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Wind gusts could reach up to 20 miles per hour.

Monday: Snow showers before midday. High near 41. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.
