'Will strengthen partnership with good friend Prime Minister Modi': Trump's Diwali message to Hindu Americans

Former US President Donald Trump on Thursday, he extended Diwali greetings and promised to safeguard the interests of Hindu Americansand vowed to protect them from what he called “Anti-religion agenda des radical left.”
Trump emphasized his commitment to protecting their freedoms and improving relations with India, a nation he described as an important ally.
Trump shared a post on Friend Prime Minister Modi.”
Trump also condemned attacks on Minorities In Bangladeshincluding Hindus and Christians, amid political unrest following the resignation of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. “I condemn in the strongest possible terms the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians and other minorities who are being attacked and pillaged by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in complete chaos,” Trump said.

Hasina's resignation on August 5, sparked by widespread protests against a controversial government job quota system, has thrown the country into turmoil and led to the formation of an interim government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus.
This is the first time Trump has addressed the crisis in Bangladesh, where hundreds of Hindus were reportedly killed in protests in July and August. He compared his approach to that of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, whom he accused of ignoring the plight of Hindus both globally and domestically.
“This would never have happened under my watch. Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus around the world and in America. “They have been a disaster from Israel to Ukraine to our own southern border,” Trump said, adding, “But we will make America strong again and bring back peace through strength!”
Trump also criticized Biden and Harris on economic issues, claiming: “Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses with more regulations and higher taxes. In contrast, I cut taxes, reduced regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than ever – and we will make America great again.”
He also expressed his Diwali wishes and said, “Happy Diwali to everyone too. I hope that the Festival of Lights leads to the victory of good over evil.”
Trump's outreach to Hindu Americans was strategic and aimed at consolidating support within that community while addressing broader concerns about global stability and economic resilience.
